Recreation Letter to Rawlins Citizens for COVID-19

City of Rawlins maintains several park and green space areas along the with the walking tails throughout the City for the benefit of our citizens.  Open areas within these parks are not shut down during this health order.  During this time the City will rope off playground equipment and ask citizens to not utilize the equipment to ensure no spread of germs.

City of Rawlins asks when enjoying the outdoors that individuals respect and follow the orders of the State by 1) Maintaining 6 feet social distancing from other individuals, excluding immediate family members; 2) Ensure no gatherings of more than 10 people in a single room or a single confined space at the same time; and 3) Adhere to strict hygiene practices, including but not limited to, hand-washing, use of sanitizer, and other safety practices.

City of Rawlins is committed to following the executive orders passed down by the State of Wyoming and State Health Officer and understands the citizen’s need to continue to find outlets for and activities to continue to enjoy their life in acceptable ways. Guidance detailed below is based on these orders on ways for the citizen’s to stay healthy and maintain an active lifestyle.
