Rawlins DDA/Main Street is gearing up to finish the Multimodal Streetscaping Project in downtown. Phase I will be the striping of 4th & 5th parking spots. We would like to give everyone a heads up about the striping that will be taking place next week starting on Wed May 7th & May 8th. They will start on 4th Street moving south from Spruce to Front Street. Once 4th is done they will move to 5th again from north to south. Drying time is 30 minutes to an hour (+,-) depending on weather conditions but fairly quickly. As the paint drys, the street will open.
Phase II will be the milling and paving of Cedar Street from 3rd to 6th. Tentative date to start milling on June 2nd.
