[ARCHIVED] Rual Development Project Funding in Rawlins

The USDA will be hosting a public meeting on Rural Development Project Funding in Rawlins Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss loan funding opportunities for community facility projects.

All interested people and organizations are encouraged to attend the event, located in the Rawlins Depot so that we can answer any project funding questions you have.

USDA Rural Development is a federal agency devoted to funding financially sustainable projects which result in stronger, more vibrant rural communities across the United States. Eligible purposes for community facilities loan funding include health care and public safety facilities, and a wide variety of other public services including day care centers, libraries, municipal offices and fairgrounds – in addition to funding needed equipment for such facilities. Eligible applicants include public entities such as municipalities, counties, districts and joint powers boards as well as non-profit corporations and tribal governing bodies. All applicants must be unable to obtain funding from commercial sources at reasonable rates and terms.

We would love to discuss funding options with you, our staff can and will assist with preparation of needed documentation so you don’t get bogged down in paperwork, and we are willing and able to partner with other funding sources. Please plan to attend!

This message has been sent on behalf of Eric Boyer, Rural Development, USDA.
