City Council Meeting 2025 Design - new time

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Tuesday, March 3, 2026 Regular Council Meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DR2QFD690B7A   Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube.   

Council items include:  

  • Third and Final Readings of Ordinances to Approve Utility Franchises for Two Companies: Visionary Communications and All West/Wyoming Inc. 
  • Approve Edinburgh Street Project Change Orders for Well Monitoring, Removal of Excessive Concrete, and Addition of Geotechnical Fabric 
  • Approve Agreement with Wyoming DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) for an RPD Detective to become a Task Force Member 
  • Approve Mutual Aid and Assistance Agreement with Carbon County Fire Protection District  
  • Presentation of March Community Builder Award  
  • Proclamation of Celebration of 54th National Senior Nutrition Month  
  • Approve Wyoming Senior Olympics Letter of Support, Agenda, Minutes, Payroll, and Accounts Payable  
  • Reports from City Manager and Staff, City Attorney, and City Council 

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizens’ Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

To ensure your input is received and considered, please contact Council Members directly or attend the meeting in person to provide public comment.  

Rawlins Regular City Council Meeting times were updated in September 2025. They are nowheld every first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Work sessions are occasionally held afterwards.
