City Council Meeting 2025 Design - new time

Reminder: Regular Council Meetings now start at 6:00 pm

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 Regular Council Meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DMGLZS53C24E Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube.

Council items include:

  • Presentation of 2025 Max Dutton Award, Supervisor of the Year, and Employee of the Year
  • Approval of City’s Construction Match of $423,946 for the Estimated $3.2M Higley Blvd. Pedestrian Underpass Project
  • Approval of Donation of $6,000 from HF Sinclair for purchase of Junior Golf Clubs
  • Approval of Municipal Half-Day Closure for Christmas Eve
  • Approval of Resolution for Legal Services Agreement for Eligibility for Settlement Funds from Aqueous Film Forming Foam Litigation
  • Council Disclosure of Financial Relationships with Public Funds Depositories  
  • Approval of Municipal Solid Waste Hauler Licenses
  • Community Builder Award for December 2025
  • Union Wireless Update to Council
  • Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee Appointment and DDA Board Resignation 
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Payroll, and Accounts Payable 
  • Reports from the Interim City Manager and Staff, City Attorney, and City Council  

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

Rawlins Regular City Council Meeting times were updated in September 2025. They are now held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Work sessions are occasionally held afterwards.
