City Council Meeting 2025 Design - new time

Reminder: Regular Council Meetings now start at 6:00 pm

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Tuesday October 21, 2025 Council Meeting at 6:00 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DKCK2A4F6935 Meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube.

Council items include:

  • Public Hearing and Second Reading of an Ordinance to Amend Title 19 to Add Definitions for Multiple Industrial Uses and to Amend and Clarify Fencing Requirements 
  • Third and Final Reading of Rezoning of 12 Properties between Spruce Street and the Municipal Boundary and between 23rd and 19th Street from Residential 7.5 to Commercial C-2
  • Award Edinburgh Street Reconstruction, including Street, Sidewalks, Water, Sewer, and Storm Sewer, to Lewis & Lewis
  • Award Landfill Caterpillar 938 – Wheel Loader for the Rawlins Landfill 
  • Discussion of City of Rawlins 24-Hour Catering Permits Process  
  • Presentation of October Community Builder Award
  • Shooting Ranges Advisory Board Appointment 
  • Reports from Fire Commission, Interim City Manager and Staff, and City Council 
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Payroll, and Accounts Payable 

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

Rawlins Regular City Council Meeting times were updated in September 2025. They are now held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Work sessions are occasionally held afterwards.
