On March 2, 2025, at approximately 3:30am the Rawlins Police Department (RPD) responded to Loaf N’ Jug on the report of an armed robbery. A lone suspect entered the store, approached the front counter, and demanded money while indicating that he held a weapon concealed in his clothing. The suspect stole US currency and fled westbound on foot. Based on the initial investigation, officers developed a suspect, Jonathan Lawdermilt, 21 years old of Rawlins. RPD officers located Lawdermilt in the 1800 block of West Spruce within an hour and arrested him for Aggravated Robbery and Interference with a Police Officer.
All persons accused of crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Further information will be available through Carbon County Circuit Court.
