It was an honor for the City of Rawlins to be a part of the ceremonial groundbreaking of the TransWest Express Transmission Project Tuesday. Congratulations to the numerous private and public partners who have worked for over 15 years on this project!
The transmission line will add more than 1,000 jobs during construction. When complete, it will provide 3,000 megawatts of transmission capacity to the Western U.S. and carry electricity produced by the largest onshore wind generation project in North America, currently under construction by Power Company of Wyoming.
