The Washington Street Underpass will be closed on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 from 10am to 12pm (Noon) for cleaning of the sewer drains located at the north and south sides of the underpass. Motorists planning to use this route during this two-hour period are advised to plan an alternate route, either over the Jackson/6th Streets Bridge or via Interstate 80.
Please remember to use caution when traveling around all city maintenance and other crews working in our community. Please slow down, put down distractions and obey posted signage to keep workers, pedestrians and other drivers safe.
