The 2019 Water Project is starting up again this week! On Monday, the contractor will be placing notices for those households which will be impacted. Their first area for this season is Daley and Harshman.
This project is in it's last season and includes:
1. Replacement of existing old and undersized water mains with PVC pipe and reconnecting water services;
2. Replacing existing curb stops and boxes and connecting new service line from the new main to existing service line;
3. Installing backflow preventers and expansions tanks inside residences and businesses;
4. Boring the new water main under Spruce Street (US 30);
5. Compacting waterline trench, placing and compacting subbase and base materials, and resurfacing a 10-foot wide area over the waterline trench.
