On May 18th, City Council will hold three meetings:
• Special Meeting solely to enter Executive Session at 5:00pm
• Work Session following the Special Meeting
• Regular Meeting at 7:30pm
All meetings are held in the Council Chambers at 521 W. Cedar Street, Rawlins, WY. The public is encouraged to attend, send in comments beforehand and/or watch the meeting remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are aired live on Channel 191 (Spectrum), on Facebook live (barring tech problems) and posted to YouTube afterwards.
Council agenda items include the two executive sessions, report on legislative liquor license changes, third readings on three ordinances (Urban Systems guiding policies, lifting diagonal parking length restrictions, and mandatory review of all ordinances and resolutions by City Attorney), an agreement with WYDOT for Urban Systems funding, a resolution to apply for a bulletproof vest grant and much more. City Council access is no longer restricted per the authority granted by City Council to the City Manager. The City of Rawlins encourages mask use and social distancing in our facilities.
Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00pm.
