City Council New Ad

The Rawlins City Council will hold a Special Council Meeting on Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 6:00pm. The agenda and council packet are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DFZPMB6541BA  The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. 

The agenda is limited to:   

  • Public Hearing & Third and Final Reading of the 2025-2026 City of Rawlins Budget 
  • Public Hearing & Second Reading for the Repeal and Recodification of Rawlins Municipal Code Title 8.16: Nuisances to clarify ordinance language, streamline court processes, and create an automatic grace period with the goal of improving compliance and assisting beautification throughout the community 
  • Public Hearing and Approval of an Amendment to the 2024-2025 Budget to include the $500,000 Brownfield Site Assessment Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • Executive Session - per WY Statute 16-4-405(a)(ii and ix). This may include action after the executive session.

Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are sometimes held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
