Council Upcoming Meetings Notice

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at https://go.boarddocs.com/wy/rawlins/Board.nsf/goto?open&id=DCYPJD64D2A0 The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. The work session and meeting are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street.

Council items include:

  • Approve Catering Permit for the Rifleman Club Bar to the Parco, Sinclair, WY  
  • Approve Letter stating the City of Rawlins Reviewed the Fire Protection District’s MRG Grant
  • Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee Appointment 
  • Presentation of Employee of the First Quarter and April Community Builder Award
  • Proclamation of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 
  • Reports from Planning & Zoning Commission, City Manager, City Attorney, and City Council 
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Accounts Payable and Payroll

NOTE: There is a special council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 23rd at 6pm. 

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted during council discussion. To address the Council, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor.

Comments made on social media before or during meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.

Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are sometimes held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
