The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at www.rawlinswy.gov/boarddocs. There will also be a Special Council Meeting for the First Reading of the FY24-25 Budget on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 beginning at 7:30pm.
The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street.

May 21st:
- Public Hearing and Approve - Special Use Permit for an in-home daycare at 2979 Shetland Dr.
- Public Hearing and Approve – Resolution amending Water and Sewer Rates (additional information also at www.rawlinswy.gov/feestudies)
- Approve – Concessionaire Agreement Extension with Win Haymond/19th Hole
- Approve – Declare 1998 Fire Truck as surplus
- Approve – Replacement of heating and cooling rooftop units at the Rawlins Police Department and Public Works/Community Development buildings
- Approve – Engineering, design and replacement of the heating and cooling systems at the Rawlins Family Recreation Center and Rawlins City Hall
- Proclamation – Honoring Rawlins and Victory High School graduates and declaring City of Rawlins Arbor Day May 31, 2024

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted after council discussion. To address the Council during Citizen’s Participation or at other times during the meeting, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor. Comments made on social media before or during meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.
Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
