The City of Rawlins Parks Division is cleaning the cemetery beginning May 1. They will remove all flowers, statutes, etc., that are not permanently attached to the headstone/headstone base and remove any containers or decorations made of glass, porcelain, or pottery. Cemetery Clean-Up: The City of Rawlins will begin the Cemetery Spring Clean-Up on Wednesday, May 1. Any item not securely attached to a monument and any unsightly item can be removed at any time. However, in honor of Memorial Day, additional decorations may be placed from Saturday, May 18th to Sunday, June 2nd.
