Council Upcoming Meetings Notice

The agenda and council packet for Rawlins’ City Council’s Regular Meeting on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. are available on BoardDocs at www.rawlinswy.gov/boarddocs. The public is encouraged to attend or watch the meetings remotely. Council work sessions and meetings are broadcast live and recorded on YouTube at www.rawlinswy.gov/youtube. Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 521 W. Cedar Street. 

 Council items include:  

  • Recognition: Employee Longevity, Max Dutton, Supervisor of the Year, Employee of the Year, Communications Team and Communications Technologist 
  • Approve – Solid Waste Hauler Licenses 
  • Approve – Amendment to County/City MOU regarding snow removal and storage 
  • Approve – Public Fund Depositories for 2024 
  • Parks & Rec Advisory Committee Appointment, Rawlins DDA/Main Street Board Appointments, Golf Course Advisory Board Appointments, and Shooting Ranges Advisory Board Resignation 
  • Reports from City Manager, Staff, and Council
  • Approve Agenda, Minutes, Accounts Payable, and Payroll 
  • Executive Session per Wyoming Statue 15-4-405(a)(iii & ix)
  • No Work Session

Regular City Council meetings include opportunities for citizens to communicate with the council. Citizen’s Participation is reserved for items not on the agenda. During agenda items, public comments may be accepted after council discussion. To address the Council during Citizen’s Participation or at other times during the meeting, please raise your hand and come to the podium once recognized by the mayor. Comments made on social media before or during meetings are not an official way of communicating with the governing body. We do not consistently monitor comments on the live stream of the meeting except to check on the sound levels or for other technical issues.

 Rawlins City Council meetings are held every first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30p. Work sessions are often held beforehand, typically at 6:00 pm.
