Our Parks Division, including our contracted City Arborist, will be working on tree maintenance through August and early September. This includes tree pruning, inspections for disease, and removal of dead trees with a focus on the cemetery and east-end greenbelts. Regular maintenance helps trees stay healthy and look their best.
The City has an annual contract with Affordable Tree Care to act as the City’s Arborist, including providing inspections, recommendations and maintenance. The City of Rawlins is a proud Tree City USA for the 28th year through our dedication to planting and caring for trees.
