NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rawlins Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the City Council Chambers, located at City Hall, 521 West Cedar Street, Rawlins, Wyoming, at 5:30 p.m. to hear the following matters:

An application has been submitted by Juan Leon to the City of Rawlins to vacate unimproved city owned property at the following locations;

N 1/2 VACATED MILLER STREET

A PARCEL OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF MILLER STREET LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCKS 22 AND 23 OF THE THIRD MERRILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF RAWLINS, CARBON COUNTY, WYOMING; 

BEGINNING AT THE SW CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 22, THENCE S89°42’40”E ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID BLOCK 22, A DISTANCE OF 107.91 FEET, AGAINST A RECORD BEARING AND DISTANCE OF EAST 108.00 FEET, TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 22;

THENCE S00°02’ 10”W, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF BENNETT STREET, A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO THE CENTERLINE OF MILLER STREET AS PLATTED;

THENCE N89°42’40”W, ALONG SAID CENTERLINE OF MILLER STREET AS PLATTED, A DISTANCE OF 107.90 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF SAID THIRD MERRELL ADDITION;

BEGINNING AT THE NW CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 23, THENCE N00°01’50”E, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID THIRD MERRELL ADDITION, A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO THE CENTERLINE OF MILLER STREET AS PLATTED;

THENCE S89°42’40”E, ALONG SAID CENTERLINE OF MILLER STREET AS PLATTED, A DISTANCE OF 107.90 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF BENNETT STREET;

THENCE S00°02’10”W, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF BENNETT STREET, A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID BLOCK 23;
