LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rawlins Board of Adjustments will hold a Special Public Hearing on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., at the City Hall Council Chambers located at 521 West Cedar Street, Rawlins to hear the following matters:

Public Hearing:

• BOA 23-09-01; An application for a variance has been submitted by Larry Mahaffey for a 30 ft. x 30 ft pole barn in the front yard of property located at 712 11^th St. more specifically described as LOTS 4, 5 & 6 BLK 8 PARK HILL ADDN (BK 1207/7) of the City of Rawlins, Carbon County, Wyoming. Municipal code states in Section 19.24.050 D. vi. Accessory structures shall not be allowed within a front yard, except doghouses, playhouses, or any non-permanent structure less than twenty (20) square ft.

If for any reason the meeting is cancelled, all above matters will be placed on the agenda for the next scheduled public hearing. For further information on the above items call the Community Development Department at 307-328-4599.
